Lauren Ward and Alex Kweskin were both born and raised in San Clemente, Southern California. Growing up surrounded by the eclectic mix of urban energy and coastal serenity has left an indelible mark on their work. The play of light across the Pacific, the rich hues of the SoCal sun, and the counter-culture tapestry of their hometown have had an immense influence on their visual story-telling. In their collaboration, Lauren's whimsical and playful aesthetic juxtaposed with Alex's technical and design-focused perspective, result in their unique approach. This synergy brings about in a body of work that feels of the moment, dynamic, poetic and genuine. Lauren and Alex currently split their time between Los Angeles and New York City.
