Katerina Jebb for Acne

Katerina Jebb worked with Acne’s creative director Jonny Johansson, exploring the archive of historical garments at the Musée Galliera, the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. That exploration was the foundation of the FW2013 Acne collection. Johansson and Jebb were enamored of the interiors of these antique clothes, and they sought to expose their hidden construction. For Jebb that meant scanning the pieces inside out, and creating photomontages that were used as the collection’s print and in windows of 36 Acne stores worldwide.

Brian Finke shot the cover and inside spread for the pentagon-sponsored Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Robotics Challenge.  The article, “Escape from the Lab” is featured in the current May, 2014 issue of Popular Mechanics.

Katerina Jebb shoots Haute Couture for Numero China

Numero China commissioned Katerina Jebb to photograph the Haute Couture cover story for this month’s issue. Jebb created a stunning series of images, executed with her signature style; scanning her subjects in haute couture gowns. These works are meticulously constructed and require weeks of work in photo montage.

Valerio Spada’s Gomorrah Girl Chosen as one of Time Magazine’s Best Spring/Summer Photo Books

Valerio Spada, who won the 2013 Guggenheim Prize in Photography for his book “Gomorrah Girl” featuring images of social conditions in an impoverished city slum of Italy where the mafia is pervasive and exploitative has been chosen as one of Time Magazine’s best Spring/Summer photography books.
