Katerina Jebb, the Balthus Foundation & 032C
Katerina Jebb has worked extensively with the Balthus Foundation since 2010. She was invited to document the artist’s studio employing her scanning technique to construct an inventory of the space and the possessions of Balthus. A book of this work will be published in collaboration with the Balthus Foundation in 2019. For the current winter issue of 032c, she returned to Rossinière to visit Balthus’s widow Countess Setsuko Klossowska de Rola and his daughter Harumi Klossowska de Rola at The Grand Chalet. Jebb juxtaposed various studies of her archival works alongside newly created images for the 032C feature. Styled by Robert Rabensteiner and makeup by Sarah Reygate.
